Here are three latte recipes that I love to start off my morning with to ensure that I get my collagen and fats in for the day! Each flavor of latte has its own benefits as well…

Lavender

  1. Reduce anxiety + stress
  2. Improve brain function
  3. Improve sleeping habits

Honey

  1. Blood sugar regulation
  2. Reduce throat irritation
  3. Maintaining glycogen levels
    1. Glycogen is the primary fuel your muscles use for energy production

Turmeric

  1. Anti-inflammatory
  2. Antioxidant
  3. Boosts brain function
  4. Circulation

Lavender Latte

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Heat milk on the stove
  2. Remove from heat and add 1 drop of lavender powder, a scoop of collagen powder and brain octane oil
  3. Froth together for about 15 seconds
  4. Combine milk mixture with coffee and stir

Disclaimer: If you choose to use lavender essential oil instead of dry lavender, consult with your physician and make sure to use only one drop and to not use it every day. This could be harming to your body which is why we updated our recipe to use lavender powder.

Lavender Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C Filtered Water
  • 1/2 C Pure Cane Sugar or Coconut Sugar
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Lavender Blossoms

Preparation:

  1. Combine all 3 ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil
  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved
  3. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 15-20 min
  4. Strain blossoms and store in the refrigerator

Honey Latte

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Heat up milk on the stove
  2. Remove from heat and add a scoop of collagen, Bulletproof brain octane oil and honey
  3. Froth together for about 15 seconds
  4. Combine milk mixture with coffee and stir

Turmeric Latte

Ingredients:

Preparation:

    1. Steep green tea for about five minutes
    2. Add turmeric to green tea
      1. Test out how much turmeric is pleasing to you, I like mine strong so that is why I use 1/4 tsp.
    3. Add collagen, almond milk and either brain octane oil or MCT oil
    4. Froth together for about 15 seconds
